Director of Marketing & Athlete Engagement for 
Cav Futures & Cav Futures Foundation

Originally from Seattle, WA, Maddie Walsh joined NIL entity Cav Futures as the Director of Marketing and Athlete Engagement after spending a year with the University of Virginia Football team as an operations assistant. Prior to moving to Charlottesville, Maddie was the Senior Content Editor for the third-party NIL marketplace NOCAP Sports where she managed the brand’s social media platforms and developed educational materials for student-athletes just as the new NIL legislation became official.

In addition to her role with Cav Futures, Maddie is pursuing an M.Ed in Student Affairs Practice in Higher Education at the University of Virginia. She previously graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a degree in International Relations, Communications Design, & Spanish. While a student at USC, Maddie worked in recruiting and operations for two years with the USC Football team and interned for Russell Wilson’s production company West2East Empire. These days, she spends most of her free time attending various UVA sporting events and exploring Charlottesville with friends.
